The route goes through the territory of the Chornobyl biosphere radioecological reserve therefore there’s a high possibility to meet wild animals and variety of birds during kayaking. After the unforgettable rafting we will see the Chornobyl nuclear power plant and walk through the streets of a legendary ghost-town Prypiat.

Departure from Kiev at 8:00. Arrival in Chornobyl, transfer to kayaks and a two-hour walk along the Pripyat river (see map below), exit out of kayaks, transfer to a bus and an excursion to the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, lunch at the station canteen, tour of the city of Pripyat. Return on the same day around 21:00.

The program of two-day kayak CHORNOBYL TOUR
Departure from Kiev at 8:00. Arrival in v. Cherevach, transfer to kayaks. An 18-kilometer river route runs downstream along the Uzh River in the area of the Chornobyl Biosphere Reserve with access to the Pripyat River and tie-down in the city of Chornobyl. The passage takes about 5 hours. After that, the group arrives in Chornobyl for dinner and accommodation at the hotel for the night. Evening tour of the city of Chornobyl.
On the second day there is a breakfast, a visit to the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, Chornobyl-2, the city of Pripyat and the abandoned villages of the Chornobyl zone. Return to Kiev around 21.00.

Equipment for the kayak tour should contain long sleeve clothes, long pants and closed shoes that can be drenched.
In accordance with
the Rules of visiting the Exclusion Zone - strictly 18+. Special training for the passage of both routes is not required. The minimum number for a kayak tour is 10 participants.
